Arguably, Emotional Intelligence (EI) is becoming more important than Cognitive Intelligence (thanks to computers and AI). What makes us uniquely ‘human’ is our ability to feel and what makes a great leader is the ability to understand and relate to those feelings, which are not always rational or predictable.
